Pat McCarthy redesign the Washington State Auditor website to allow easier public use and greater interaction between citizens and their government. The new website is full of current facts, figures and information, while making critical audit tools easier to navigate.

Transparency and accountability remains pillars for our democracy. In my first term, Pat worked hard to have the Auditor's office be a source of open, accessible information for government watchdogs, newspapers and citizens.

Pat obtained the Seattle Times endorsement (07/05/20). She was described as "the clear choice to be reelected this fall." They urged the "veteran government leader" with "deep experience" to "fully reinvigorate the office" responsible for "powerful good-governance."
